EIW is the abbreviation of: Endtime Information Web. The name says it all: EIW is a privately owned website with the purpose to inform the readers about the time that the bible calls 'The Last Days' or 'Endtime' With each day passing it's becoming more and more obvious that we are living right before the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Consequently, our goal is to warn people to convert to God through His Son Jesus Christ now while there's still time and opportunity. We don't have any relation to or affinity with the Jehovah's Witnesses and/or the Watch Tower Society as far as their (unbiblical) doctrine is concerned. We expect the following chronological order: Rapture of the Church-Daniel's last week (The Great Tribulation)-and the visible return of Jesus Christ to earth to bring human reign to a conclusion and establish His Millenium Kingdom of peace and justice on this earth.

EIW is a non-commercial christian website. We are independent of any Denomination, Foundation or Society. We proclaim that Jesus Christ is the only Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one comes unto the Father, except through Him. Also read our Statement of Faith. The importance and necessity of being born again will be stressed here. Please read:

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

For those who are not familiair with Scriptures or do not believe it is the infallible Word of God I advice you to read for instance Mathew 24:1-51 and compare it to current world events, among other things, via the information in the right column. These are the current facts (the Bible calls them Signs) that are firm and are appearing simultaneously and more frequent in our time.

Also note that you should read Mathew 24 in the context of the Rebirth of the Nation of Israel in 1948. Mathew 24: 32-34:

"32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

So Jesus spoke of a generation that would see the Rebirth of the Nation of Israel (in 1948) and would not pass.The Bible refers to Israel as a fig tree. It's more than obvious that WE are that generation.

Although more and more people determine that world events are culminating and go toward a climax, think for example about increasing extreme weather conditions (one after the other record is being broken in our time), i.e floods (sometimes of almost biblical proportions), earthquakes, violent storms and tornados, political tensions and conflicts and an ever increasing violent society (as in the days of Noah) etc, many do not link this to Bible prophecies. Prophecies that were passed on to His Prophets and Apostles by God and which have already been fulfilled or will be fulfilled in the (near) future. Of course we know that these (natural) disasters, whether or not caused by human intervention, have always happened within living memory, but Mathew 24 tells us about birthpangs, i.e there will be a higher frequency/intensity in which these disasters, events and developments will occur. That is exactly what we see happening over the past couple of years and we anticipate this will only be the beginning of the coming calamaties, natural disasters etc. This is no 'doom mongering' as some people want us to believe but a sober perception of facts in our daily news and if we compare them to Bible endtime prophesies we can only conclude that the infallible Word of God is indeed true.

EIW originally started as a website with translations (into Dutch) of various Bible endtime prophecy articles from the World Wide Web. Since English is the main language on the WWW we are currently working on an English version as well. Some parts however, are still under construction. Most of the internet users do not have English as their native tongue, so we try to keep our English as plain as possible. The purpose of each and every article we have a link to, is to show that we have indeed arrived at the time the bible calls the Last Days. To view (most of) the articles in the left colomn you will be directly linked to the websites where the articles originate. The author is responsible for his or her own article. If you want to spread the articles, please keep the copyrights in mind. We also include links to other (christian) websites. Since mid April we started to translate some parts of EIW into English. The English version however, could differ somewhat from the Dutch version.

In addition to the signs from Mathew 24, a number of articles are concerned with technological advancements. (Also read Daniel 12: 4 in this context)

"4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

Especially various methods of biometric identification and the whole infrastructure for a cashless society will get broad attention here. Biometrics means identifying individuals by their body features such as hand patterns, fingerprints, and retina patterns which are unique for each human being and therefore pre-eminently suitable to verify one's identity (before making financial transactions for instance) with a great amount of certainty. The bible predicted a future cashless economic system where some mark will be required to buy or sell. Since we see all sort of (biometric) scanners on the market today it is easy to imagine that similar scanners could one day soon be used to scan The Mark of the Beast. This shows how 'up to date' the Bible really is. Read chapter 13: 16-18 from the Book of Revelation.

"16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

Please note that Biometrics is not the Mark of the Beast. The Bible clearly speaks of a Mark that somehow contains the number 666, or the name of the Beast, and will be placed in (or on) the right hand or forehead. Biometric scanners only scan for instance the fingerprint, hand or retina pattern, which are part of your body and they do not (yet?) scan such a mark. However, I believe it is possible that they could be used in conjunction with the Mark for extra security.

So according to Revelation a physical Mark will be implemented on (in) the forehead or right hand. Scanning of someone's retina pattern for instance, is only a few inches away from the forehead. A small microprocessor with the size (and even many times smaller) of a grain of rice that can be implanted under the skin with a special syringe are extensively being tested in various pilotprograms throughout the world while you read this.Since the biochip (as this tiny microprocessor is also called), is relatively inexpensive it is one of the likely candidates to become the Mark from Revelation 13: 16-18. The Bible is very clear on the horrible fate of anyone who receives this Mark.

Revelation 14: 9-11

"9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

How exactly things will evolve is hard to predict but we will keep you informed on these developments. The current means of identification might be replaced by the Mark or could be used in conjunction with this Mark. The same goes for so called 'smartcards' (chips on a plastic carrier in which information can be stored digitally). These are all precursors to the Mark or could be used in conjunction with this Mark. Again, how exactly this will develop is hard to predict but it is fairly obvious that a complete infrastructure for this Mark is rapidly being built and perfected right before our very eyes. Think of for instance computers, computer networks including network software, datacommunication lines, satellites etc.

Whenever there are companies/institutions mentioned here that relate to technological inventions, this isn't meant as negative publicity against these companies/institutions. Technology in itself isn't wrong. The point however is, that people might misuse this technology in view of political motives, hunger for (more) power or for other purposes. History has proven time after time, and more important, the Bible prophesied that advanced technology will sooner or later be misused to murder and/or enslave people.

The layout of the mainpage is as follows: In the left column you can read general information and the articles in given order. Our comments after each update/changes on this website in the middle column. And the right column is primarily dedicated to Mathew 24: 1-51, the Prophet Daniel, and The Book of Revelation.. By comparing current world events to these bible books we hope that you, like us, conclude that we are indeed living in the Last Days and that this time can only be survived (spiritually) when you convert to the Lord Jesus Christ and only put your trust in Him. That is the ultimate goal of this website.

Finally: We are not after sensationalism. Our objective is a sober perception of worldevents and compare them to the infallible Word of God. God bless you !
